David Roebke is a native of Green Bay, Wisconsin. He is a retired Air Force veteran with extensive knowledge of air defense and air operations. Roebke is an honors graduate of Southern Illinois University and holds a Masters degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (International) in Aviation Management and Aviation Operations.
Roebke founded the Christian Songwriters Fellowship in Las Vegas in 1989 which ran for 12 years as a non-profit. He also planned and coordinated a successful yearlong Centennial of Flight program through the Las Vegas Library District when he was a member of EAA Chapter 1300 in 2003.
David's first book, "The Sorrow Stone" is based on his personal challenge with grief after losing his wife Jean to cancer in 2010. Roebke is a member of many aviation organizations and groups including the National Aeronautic Association (NAA), the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA). Roebke is a member of the Green Bay Area Writers Guild.
